I’m Julie.
I’m an Interior Designer located in the Detroit area. My interest in design started at an early age and it has evolved over time into earning my BFA from Wayne State University in Detroit and founding my own design studio in 2017. Each one of my projects are customized to the individual client's lifestyle and aesthetic. I believe that your home should be a reflection of who you are and be a space that truly makes you comfortable and happy. One of the best parts of working with homeowners is finding creative design solutions and revealing the hidden potential their space holds.
In addition to my design work, I am also an adjunct instructor at a local college in the Interior Design department. Instructing is something else that I enjoy and have been wanting to do since I was a student myself.
About the Name
The name J. Raine comes from a condensed combination of my first and middle name. My middle name is after my maternal grandmother and is a nice reminder of the strong women who came before me.
